The Mesquite Youth Services Advisory Council was created to encourage youth leadership through volunteer projects and events that emphasizes a sense of ownership and results in commitment to the Mesquite Community. Members of the Youth Advisory Council include only students who reside in Mesquite or attend a Mesquite schools.

Membership shall be for a period of one-year and term of office is from October to September of each calendar year. The Youth Advisory Council officers include a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Parliamentarian.

Senior Advisory Council – (high school students only) meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. The Senior Advisory Council Kick-Off will be October 7th

Junior Advisory Council – (middle school students only) meet on the 2nd and 4 th Tuesday of every month.The Junior Advisory Council Kick-Off will be October 14th
